Even if you’re not a fan of soaps, there’s no way you can avoid them in an industry like this one, where every company claims to have invented or designed the same thing that the other did. Apple and Samsung have been the two worse cases, as lawsuits have flown from each other’s desks in the last couple of years more than any other rivalry in the tech world. These trials have resulted in one meeting between both of the companies CEOs in order to reach better agreements, but this didn’t prove to be as successful as the courts expected.
As a result, the CEOs of both companies will meet again on January 19th. There is still a lot of settlement to be reached on the table, but if this meeting doesn’t prove to be successful, it would mean some trial action in March, which could lead to some future legal action. We’ve noticed some dramatic difference between what each company offers in the tech world lately, and hopefully that will make negotiation possibilities better.
It’s hard to tell exactly how many topics will be discussed at this meeting, since there are a ton of lawsuits in different courts of the world, but we’ll keep you posted as things develop ten days from now.
