Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G vs. Galaxy Note III (Video)

As you’ve no doubt picked up on by now, there’s a whole lot about Huawei’s new Ascend Mate2 4G that reminds us of last year’s model. Don’t get us wrong – there a number of noteworthy improvements – but with the same-sized display and and very similar external dimensions, these two are clearly fruit form the same tree.

Last year, when we were first introduced to the original Ascend Mate, we felt compelled to see how the handset measured up against the phablet du jour, Samsung’s Galaxy Note II. Well, with one more year under our belts there’s a new king of phablet mountain to size-up with, and we brought along a Galaxy Note III to compare against Huawei’s Ascend Mate2 4G.

Sure, Huawei doesn’t have the very cool S Pen, but will it still be able to hold its own against Samsung’s heavyweight. Watch below to see our impressions:
