What do you think of when it comes to ASUS devices? The Nexus 7? Maybe the PadFone/FonePad? While the company has been experimenting with smaller devices (like last month’s PadFone Mini), ASUS is still largely seen as a tablet manufacturer. It may be interested in changing that perception, as the company releases a new teaser video for its CES event, one that sure could be hinting at a new range of ASUS smartphones.
The “What’s your number?” spot embedded below shows a whole lot of bouncing balls, giving us quick close-ups on three labeled 4, 5, and 6. That’s generating a lot of speculation that ASUS intends to launch a new line of phones, and specifically giving shoppers the option between a four-inch compact model, five-inch flagship, and six-inch phablet.
We’ll know for sure in just one week, with the ASUS CES keynote scheduled for next Monday afternoon. Beyond phones, we’re also likely to see a new ASUS convertible tablet running both Android and Windows, which the company already teased a little earlier this month.
