Android 4.4 KitKat was rolled out to GPE editions of the GS4 and HTC One on November 26, but this time the Taiwanese phone is getting the latest point-update faster than the Samsung-phone. The HTC One Google Play Edition Android 4.4.2 update is available for those rocking the pure-android HTC flagship, and this happens shortly after Google’s (and LG’s) own Nexus devices got the treat.

The refresh is reportedly hitting devices as we speak — so make sure to check for that notification, or to manually trigger it — while HTC has posted the files to its HTCDev website, including Framework Support Files. You can take a peak at the source link below, and, while you wait for the OTA update to reach your phone, make sure to check what Android 4.4.2 brings to the table.
