A little over a month ago we told Google Galaxy Nexus owners that there’s hope out there, KitKat hope, after the Android-maker decided to forget about this once-upon-a-time-a-reference-device in its Android 4.4 plans. At that point the community tried its best and delivered an early KitKat ROM that had some issues, but closed the gap between old Nexus and newer Nexus device.
The community is the one that solves the problem yet again. We’re looking at another, this time, rather stable Google Galaxy Nexus Android 4.4 KitKat ROM. It is dubbed CyanogenMod 11 for the device and pretty much everything is working as you would expect, aside from slight graphic glitches and stuff related to camera panorama and viewing images. You can of course find everything you need, from downloads to feedback and instructions, by following the source link below (as long as you understand the risks involved).
