When LG announced the G Flex on October 28, the self-healing and bendable phone became available on its home market, in South Korea, with no information regarding international/global plans. However, today, LG has officially made its plans for the G Flex public, and we’re looking at a global availability soon.
Singapore and Hong Kong (pre-orders on December 8 and December 13, respectively) are the first ones to get the device, starting this week. “Before the end of the year”, the G Flex will be announced for other key markets in Asia, and, “soon” after that, other regions will get it too. Judging by the wording, we’re likely looking at a 2014 availability for the US and Europe.
Until then make sure to check out our real-life torture test of the G Flex to see how it copes with day-to-day tasks (and abuse).
