T-Mobile Moto X getting Android 4.4 KitKat

Verizon Moto X users started receiving their Android 4.4 KitKat update on Tuesday, and, while some AT&T owners of the phone are currently being targeted for a soak test — usually indicating an imminent release — the latest version of Android is now being pushed out to the T-Mobile Moto X.

As usual, the roll-out is going out in stages and phases so if you have not yet received your update notification rest assured that you will (a manual check for its existence can help now and then). As per what to expect, the refresh brings, according to Motorola’s own blog post, an improved phone dialer, more gallery goodies, a new Hangouts app, color Emoji, drag to focus and expose, and much more, part of the OS itself..
