Nokia’s first Windows 8 tablet is now here, with the Lumia 2520 finally available for sale. The 10.1-inch slate will run you about $400 with a carrier subsidy, or $500 free-and-clear. We’ve already given you a hands-on look at the model, and our full review is forthcoming. One thing that’s not available just yet, however, is the tablet’s official Power Keyboard, a combination wrap-around cover/stand/extended battery/keyboard/USB expansion hub. When it finally does go up for sale you’ll be able to snag one for an extra $150, but Nokia’s got a much better deal in store for early 2520 customers, hooking them up with a Power Keyboard for free.
Buy your Lumia 2520 between now and December 2, and you’re eligible to request your free Power Keyboard. The offer’s redeemable by mail, and it could take another six weeks for the accessory to arrive, but how are you going to say no to a free $150 keyboard?
The deal is US-only, which is unfortunate but also nothing unexpected. The biggest limitation to keep in mind is that time constraint – you’ve got just over a week to purchase a 2520 if you want to take advantage of the deal, so act fast.
