Samsung handing out $50 Play Store credit to US Galaxy Note 3 owners

Been thinking about picking up a Samsung Galaxy Note 3? Why not, as with its speedy processor, big beautiful display, and ever-versatile S Pen, it’s easily one of the most compelling smartphones around at the moment. But for all the good this phone offers, it still has one little problem: a premium price tag. At a carrier in the States, you’re probably looking to pay $300 on-contract for the Note 3, while even newer models like the LG G2 go for a whole lot less. Sure, you get a lot for your money with the Note 3, but if you’re still having trouble rationalizing the expense, Samsung has a promotion that might help sway you a little, giving away $50 in Google Play credit to Note 3 owners in the US.

The offer extends through the first week of January, and all you need to do in order to claim your credit is hit up that Samsung page linked to below and enter in your phone number and IMEI. Easy peasy, right?

We know, the US-only bit stinks, but at least Samsung isn’t making this offer only valid for new Note 3 purchases – even if you grabbed one the first moment you could, you’re still eligible for your $50.
