Verizon Moto X KitKat update enters soak test, details revealed

When Motorola introduced the Moto G on November 13, the company kicked off the event with information concerning the Moto X, specifically that the G’s bigger brother will get the latest version of Android, 4.4 KitKat, “in a matter of weeks”. Verizon has started sending out to Moto X owners for the Android 4.4 update soak test.

Aside from being the latest version of the OS, KitKat also brings improvements to the table, and Verizon Moto X owners should expect to see restyled status and navigation bars, stronger security, improved Phone application, plus a lot more, which you can see in the screenshot above. Sadly there’s no estimate on when exactly the update will roll out to all Verizon Moto X owners, but we’re glad to see Verizon move quickly.
