Google does not support the Samsung-made Galaxy Nexus when it comes to Android 4.4 KitKat upgradeability. When we talked about this on the latest episode of the Pocketnow Live show, we said that it was, in our opinion, just a matter of time (hours, or days) until the community offers a viable solution for those left behind.
Owners of the two-year old pure-Android have not one, but two Android 4.4 KitKat builds to choose from. However, since they are early builds, don’t expect everything to be perfect. For instance there are things like WiFi that do not work, graphic glitches, and other stability issues. If that doesn’t bother you, find them at the source links below. If, however, you prefer something more stable, you’ll have to sit this one out and wait for something more well-made to come out of the oven.
