Walmart recently became famous for offering a pre-launch discounts for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on launch date. The company dropped the price to $189 and $79 respectively, which may be seen as little in the eyes of some, but surely interesting when compared to other retailers that simply match the price of the device in their stores.
The story will repeat itself again on November 1st. If you’re interested on the 16GB Wi-Fi variant of the iPad Air, you can get it for $479 in Walmart, though we sadly have no confirmed details that this $20 discount will apply to every single model as well. Again, not a discount we’d call amazing, but I’m sure many of you would rather spend those $20 on a case or an extra lightning cable, than to not get any additional accessories for your money.
So far we haven’t received any reports of sales constraints with the iPad Air, so November 1st should run smoothly for all of you interested in getting the tablet. Walmart is just one of the store partners that will be offering new iPads on launch date, so keep it in mind to save a couple of bucks.
