Potential Nexus 5 packaging leaks, suggests white version of phone

When it rains, it pours; the stream of Nexus 5 leaks and rumors continues to soldier-on, and in addition to last night’s brief Play Store sighting and this morning’s battery rumors, we now have some images that sure look like Nexus 5 retail packaging, and they reveal what seems to be a previously unknown white Nexus 5 variant.

While it appears that UnderKG has since pulled these pics, it didn’t do so before the internet saw fit to archive them, preserving them for us to check out here. Not only do we get a side view of a white version of the Nexus 5, but there’s also a partial shot of the phone’s back, make it crystal clear just what we’re looking at.

Assuming this is legitimate, it’s interesting to see an alternate color option on a box like this right around launch time, implying that Google might make both versions available from the outset – or shortly thereafter. At the least, this sure has us thinking that Google won’t be delaying the model for another half a year, like it did with the white Nexus 4.

The only thing that gives us pause is that we’ve seen a lot of Nexus 5 leaks to date, but this is our first look at a white model. Have they just been hard to come by?
