How many chances have we had so far to get a look at the hardware going into Apple’s next-generation iPad? The leaks have literally been going back months, but really took off in earnest back in August. While that certainly means that we’ve already checked out the iPad 5 from any number of angles, a new image gallery has come to our attention today, revealing the hardware in probably the best quality shots we’ve yet had the pleasure to flip through.
Front panels, rear shells: while this still isn’t a fully assembled tablet, it’s got the big pieces in place, and it doesn’t take much imagination to appreciate just how the iPad 5 will look when that display panel slides in, along with the rest of the tablet’s guts.
We’ve reproduced a few of the shots here for you to look through, but this is just a drop in the bucket. If you’re still itching for more, head on through that source link to check out all the rest – over 70 pics, all told, and in higher resolution.
Official invitations still haven’t turned up, but if the latest rumors are close to the mark, Apple could be planning to introduce the iPad 5 – along with the iPad mini 2 – on October 22.
