We’ve seen it too many times before, and we’ve written and talked at length about it. The Windows Phone YouTube app situation doesn’t seem to be going in the right direction with the latest update to the app that’s being pushed out to devices.
While many were hoping that Microsoft and Google will sort this out, it doesn’t appear so, at the moment. The application that stopped working after a day has been finally updated; however, it’s been replaced with the old one, which is basically just a shortcut to YouTube’s mobile page, being opened on Internet Explorer. At least video playback is now possible!
