Here’s a quick one: according to recent reports from China, the HTC One Max will be announced on October 15. Availability, according to the same report, will follow shortly after the announcement itself. However, until we hear anything more official, we’ll file this under the unverified “R” category.
The HTC One Max is expected to be the company’s first take at phablets. We’ve seen it recently get its Chinese certification and, according to the rumor mill, it is expected to pack a six-inch screen (Super LCD 3, at Full HD resolution), a Snapdragon 600 chip (or 800, or S4 Pro, depending on the reports), the same four-megapixel “UltraPixel” camera, as well as Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
