There was initially, according to rumors, supposed to be a late-September event where Nokia was supposed to show off its upcoming Lumia 1520 phablet. Then reports started landing from all over that said event might have been postponed — to October 22 — which turned out to be a date on which Nokia is indeed planning something.
Now, according to a recent report, the Lumia 1520 will be landing on AT&T’s line-up on a certain Friday, November 8. Unnamed sources also claim knowledge of the color options (red, black, yellow, and white), as well as the price tag. An unlocked Lumia 1520 might set you back as much as $699 off-contract (like the Lumia 1020 in its early days).
AT&T might go lower, towards the $649 range, according to speculation, but the contract price is expected to be around $299.
As a reminder, the Nokia Lumia 1520, codenamed “Beastie”, according to said sources, will likely feature a six-inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800 SoC, 32GB of storage, 20MP PureView camera, and a 3,400mAh battery.
