After the recent Nexus 5 “bar story”, where we might, or might not have seen the upcoming Google phone, there are additional reports that basically reiterate what we were already suspecting concerning the next Nexus. Coming from the supply chain, sources and their chatter mention LG as a possible partner for Google in terms of the Nexus 5. Same sources claim specs close to those found on the G2 flagship, alongside Android 4.4 KitKat on-board.
Additionally, October has been dropped as a possible timeframe for a revealing, which makes sense, since the Nexus 4 was revealed in the exact period of last year. What seems to be new, though we could have predicted an attractive price-point, knowing what Google asks for its Nexus devices, is the fact that same sources claim the Nexus 5 will wear a mid-ranger-worthy price tag. We’re, of course, waiting for things to become official, but the pieces are falling nicely into place for a very attractive image.
