Tomorrow is September 18, and while that means we still have a few days to go until the new iPhone hardware goes up for sale, iOS 7 updates are only just around the corner. With that software finally about to become available, are you excited to see it arrive?
Based on the comments we’ve been hearing, iOS 7 may be the most contested of Apple’s platform updates in recent memory. Chalk that up to the Jonathan-Ive-led effort to give the UI a new, simpler, cleaner look, but for users who have grown accustom to iOS appearing a certain way, even those on-the-surface positive changes may be difficult to accept.
Then again, there are plenty of other reasons why you might not be particularly jazzed about the debut of iOS 7. Maybe you place a big priority on having a jailbroken iPhone, and you’ll be declining to install any update until there’s a new untethered jailbreak supporting the release. Or maybe you’ve just been putting off upgrading for years now and your old Apple hardware is finally getting left behind by the update train.
Let us know where you stand in our poll here, and if you’ve got a better reason for being a little apprehensive about tomorrow’s release, tell us about it down in the comments.
