Probably the biggest feature of the new iPhone 5S, camera and Touch ID aside, is its 64-bit architecture. Apple was proud to call it “forward thinking” and apparently Samsung agrees, as the company wants in on the 64-bit bandwagon too.
Samsung’s co-CEO, Shin Jong-kyun — while talking about increasing their presence and marketing strength in markets like China and Japan, where Apple is focusing a lot on lately — said that the market should expect 64-bit devices from Samsung too, soon. Upcoming Galaxy phones will be more powerful and faster, and, they will switch to the next generation of mobile computing. “Not in the shortest time. But yes, our next smartphones will have 64-bit processing functionality”, the co-CEO said.
