There’s no denying that one of the biggest annoyances of buying a 10-inch Android tablet, is that even though almost every Android app can work on it, all you’ll get is a stretched experience of a phone app that’s not optimized for it. Probably the most ridiculous example of this was, and still is Twitter, given the popularity of the social network, and its reluctance to enhance their Android app to support 10-inch tablets. Still, many of us dream of the day that this’ll change, and it seems this will happen very soon.
Many of you probably didn’t notice this, but one thing that struck the rumor mill during the Samsung unpacked event is that the Galaxy Note 10.1 was running this new app. Sadly we complained about how Samsung took too little time to demo their products, and the Galaxy Note 10.1 took the fastest blow of the three. We still don’t know if this is an exclusive to Samsung, or if it will be for a while, but stay tuned for the news.
If you’re a daring individual and want to give it a try, apparently it’s still just a 7-inch tablet app that stretches better, and that you can get the source file in this link at your own risk.
