Acer was one of those OEMs to really make a point to get its IFA announcements out early, and we brought you news of its new products all the way back on Monday. Now that we’re actually in Berlin, crawling the show floor of IFA 2013, we were able to swing by Acer’s camp and check out some of what it had to bring.
The Liquid S2, along with other new phones like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, will be one of the first Androids capable of recording 4K Ultra HD video. You may not have a set that can even display such content yet, but when that day comes, the S2 could give you plenty of 4K home movies already waiting to be viewed.
Acer’s given the S2 a 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 SoC, and 2GB of RAM. Watch on to see what impressions we came away with from our hands-on with the phone.
