IFA 2013 may not officially start for another day or two, but the smartphone companies are already on-site in Berlin, getting started early with their own product announcements. We’ve already seen Sony go public with the Xperia Z1 and its new QX camera accessories, but that’s only the beginning.

We’re following that up with coverage of the Samsung Unpacked event real soon, and later in the week we’ll be hitting the show floor itself, going booth-to-booth in order to bring you the latest and greatest in smartphones and tablets. This year in particular, we could also see an increased presence of wearable technology (like Samsung’s Galaxy Gear) and will want to check out all those new toys that will work alongside your existing phone.

This is all going to mean lots of videos, lots of news reports, and all the new hardware you can stand. Keep checking in with us through the rest of the week and into the weekend to make sure you don’t miss a moment of our ongoing IFA 2013 coverage!
