There are two more days to wait until Samsung’s special pre-IFA Berlin event; the world is excited to hear about the next-generation Galaxy Note phablet, but Samsung also confirmed its plans to show off a smartwatch, named Samsung Galaxy Gear. A prototype of said gadget has been recently leaked, in the images above and below.
We’re looking at one of the prototypes “sent to developers and a few select partners”, according to Venture Beat, who also inserted a disclaimer (a well known fact by now): Samsung products have been known, in the past, to differ from prototypes used for testing purposes, in terms of outer aspect. Chances are that the smartwatch we’ll see in Wednesday will be completely different from the one pictured below.
The report mentions Bluetooth, WiFi, and even a four-megapixel camera built in the wrist wrap. Other recent reports mention Android 4.3 as the OS of choice, but we’ll bring you all the details you need as soon as we get them.
