Sony Honami renders pop up on China’s TENAA website

Sony is expected to unveil the next flagship, codenamed Honami, at its pre-IFA event on September 4. Some rumors have gone as far as to predict there will also be a Honami Mini, but, for what it’s worth, we’re talking about the bigger brother now.

While we’ve seen plenty of alleged pictures of the phone to have a good general idea of what to expect, a couple have popped up on TENAA, China’s Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center. As you can see in the images above and below, there’s nothing really new and groundbreaking here, but Sony keeps teasing: “Think you know what a smartphone can do? It’s time to think again. Something new, something extraordinary is on the way from Sony”. We’ll have to wait and see, and hope for a great-quality screen!
