There has been no shortage of Samsung Galaxy Note III rumors, the phablet expected to be launched at the September 4, pre-IFA, special event in Berlin. Most recently we’ve heard that this year’s giant phone will not have an optical stabilized camera, but today’s rumors are looking at the same imaging component.
Citing unnamed sources, the Korea Economic Daily claims that the Galaxy Note III will have a 4K camera, delivering Ultra High Definition video. The spec might look good on paper, but you will definitely not take advantage of such video on a Full HD resolution screen. Maybe Samsung is trying to boost its 4K TV sales.
On a related note, the same report mentions that audio quality will also be improved, bumped to 24-bit, from 16. Of course, this are just rumors for the time being but in eight days we’ll definitely hear something official.
