LG G Pad render tries to anticipate the tablet’s looks

Looks like there’s no way around it: the iPad looks like a stretched out iPhone, the Samsung tablets all look like a larger S III or S4, depending on the year, and, if the render above is any indication (or legit), the upcoming LG G Pad will be… a stretched out LG G2.

We’ve been hearing a lot lately about LG’s comeback in the tablet market, since the Optimus Pad of 2011, starting with the initial rumor of August 15, and, more recently, a YouTube teaser.

IFA 2013 is where it should happen — we’ll be there to see it in person — and the specs expected on the G Pad are, according to initial reports, an 8.3-inch screen with 1920×1200 resolution, a quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM, alongside a very thin construction.
