LG is apparently back to “world firsts”. An LG Quad HD LCD panel for smartphones has been introduced by the company with a whopping resolution and pixel density rating. It is of Quad HD AH-IPS LCD kind and is the highest resolution and PPI rating mobile panel to date.
We’re talking 5.5-inches in diagonal with 2560X1440 resolution and 538PPI. As far as other specs are concerned, we’re looking at 1.21mm thickness and a 1.2mm bezel “measured in LCD modules (LCM)”. Brightness-wise, it delivers 430nits thanks to Low Temperature Poly-Silicon (LTPS) substrate construction. You can find more details at the source link below.
