Red HTC One coming to the States tomorrow

For the longest time, the red HTC One was a big mystery. HTC itself leaked the handset’s existence back when the One first launched all the way back in February, but quickly removed all trace of the red One from its site and hushed up about the whole thing. The phone would pop back up every once in a while, but it wasn’t until this summer that the red One finally went official. We’ve already seen it be a carrier exclusive, but so far not in the US, leaving the only way to get it to pay full-price from an importer. That all changes tomorrow, with HTC announcing the red One’s arrival at Sprint.

The red One on its own is interesting enough, but to welcome it to its lineup, Sprint intends to sweeten the deal a little – starting tomorrow, and running through the end of the month, Sprint is offering a BOGO deal on the HTC One, regardless of color.

The new red HTC One will sell for just about $200 on-contract, the same as Sprint’s existing silver and black models go for.

With the red One now arriving, our attentions turn to that leaked blue One, hoping to see if it’s indeed just about to launch, possibly as a Verizon exclusive.
