September 4 is the date when Samsung will be unveiling this year’s Galaxy Note phablet, the Galaxy Note III. Android 4.3 is rumored to be on-board (as we’ve previously heard) and, while the information comes from a recent report, we’d be surprised if the Note III would ship with any other earlier version.
On a related, this time, spec-note, the phablet is rumored to sport a 3,450mAh battery. The information is not confirmed but if accurate, the Note III will have a more than 10% larger battery rating than the Note II, at 3,100mAh. Whether the capacity-bump is needed for the extra specs (faster processor, camera, screen, and the rest) or it is just a natural evolution of the series is yet unknown.
