We’re just a couple of weeks away from IFA in Berlin, and we already know that both Sony and Samsung have shared their press invitations for their pre-IFA press conferences. In the case of Samsung, we all know their event will be about their Galaxy Note III, but in the case of Sony, there is a lot of speculation surrounding the Sony Honami.

A leaked poster shows the device’s border being teased in the purple color that we already know from the Xperia Z and ZL, and the poster already teases the final name of the product, which will apparently be Xperia i1. This new Xperia is also rumored to carry a display that’s larger than 5-inches, and powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, along with a unique 20-megapixel camera.

Those of you on the border of your seat should set your calendars for September 4th, as our crew will cover this event live and get you all the hands-on information that you’re waiting for. It’s not confirmed that the Honami will be part of this announcement, but for Sony’s sake, it should be.
