After the first leaked photo of the HTC One Max reached the webs yesterday, it was the general consensus that even though it does look like an HTC One, it’s hard to tell if it really isn’t just a good camera trick to make the HTC One or HTC One mini seem bigger. We’ve heard about HTC’s phablet project for the longest time, but until yesterday, we hadn’t really seen it in anything other than diagrams.
Today we have some more leaked photos from ePrice, and this time they were nice enough to put all our worries to rest by actually comparing the HTC One Maxx to another phone. Surely comparing it to the 4-inch Motorola XT882 is not the best size comparison on the planet, remember that the iPhone 5 has a 4-inch display as well. This does prove that the HTC One Max is, as HTC would call their HD2 a couple of years ago, “Big”.
The spec leaks remain the same, as we know we’ll get a Snapdragon 800 processor to power this gigantic 5.9-inch display. IFA in Berlin is exactly one month away, and with Samsung’s Unpacked invitations of the Galaxy Note III reaching all of us in the press, we know that HTC needs to keep their One Max on our radar. Let’s see what we get in the next couple of weeks.
