After first hearing about a blue version of the HTC One all the way back in May, the rumored smartphone popped back on our radar last week after a new leak appeared to uncover the phone in a Verizon database. That has us wondering if this new look for the handset was nearly about to arrive, especially with signs pointing to Verizon getting the One on August 15. That may very well be, and today what sure looks like the first press render for the blue HTC One has managed to leak.
While we took a stab at colorizing the One with some Photoshop work, this version definitely looks more legitimate, with a less saturated hue and gentler, almost hazy look.
There’s not a hint of anything Verizon-related here, so we’re hopeful that we won’t be seeing any carrier exclusivity here, or at least not for very long.
This brings our color lineup for the One to black, silver, red, and blue. Is this new shade a winner, or do your allegiances lie with one of the earlier versions?
