Moto X hands-on (Video)

August 1 has arrived, and that mean’s that it’s finally time for Motorola to put an end to all its relentless teasing of the Moto X and formally launch the brand new Android.

We set out for New York City to get some hands-on time with the Moto X at today’s event, checking out if this hardware – with specs that seem quite a bit short compared to the rest of this year’s flagships – is still going to manage to live up to the hype and wow us.

For starters, we took a quick look at the Moto X itself, seeing how that curved back feels, and getting our first impressions of the handset that embodies the new direction Motorola’s taking under Google’s wing.
