Fresh out of Motorola’s New York City Moto X event, we’ve managed to get our hands on a brand-new Moto X. You’ve just got the skinny on the phone’s hardware and heard a few details about the Android’s much-touted customization process, so what more are we waiting for? Let’s go hands-on with the Moto X and see what you can expect if you choose to pick one up yourself in a few weeks.

This is just a simple black model like will ultimately be available (alongside the white) in retail stores – for more custom builds, you’ll have to order online.
