Last week, Google announced its latest push into the living room, its much smaller and lighter successor to the short-lived Nexus Q: Chromecast.
Unlike the Nexus Q, which retailed for about as much as a car payment and weighed a ton, Chromecast is the size of a thumb drive and costs about the same price as a nice dinner. All the while, Chromecast offers all the same streaming options as the Nexus Q, except it’s not only compatible with Android, it works with iOS, Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS.
