The new Droids, announced by Verizon yesterday (Motorola Droid Ultra, Maxx, and Mini), should be available late August but until then we have an August 1 Motorola event where the long-rumored Moto X is expected to set the headlines. We’ve recently heard some pricing rumors and today we’re hearing a possible launch window (alongside a thin confirmation of the rumored prices) part of this Motorola Moto X availability report.
According to reports, the Moto X will be releases “somewhat simultaneously” with the Verizon Droid phones, meaning, give or take a couple of days, we should be able to grab one towards the end of August. We’ve already heard August 23 rumors for the Moto X (so today’s report is falling nicely in place) and, as far as pricing is concerned, the report claims a “very cheap” price point off contract.
We’ll let you know more as soon as we find out and, of course, we’ll be there to bring you our usual on-site hands-on coverage.
