Next week’s Google event will likely be focusing on a Nexus refresh. We’ve seen reports of how the follow-up might be priced, and now we’re treated with more details about the Google slate, alongside with some pictures and a video.
The device pictured and allegedly the Nexus 7 follow-up is likely a prototype. It is still manufactured by ASUS, like the original Nexus 7, and, according to the report, 16- and 32GB versions can be expected, just like there are great chances for seeing a WiFi-only, as well as a cellular-enabled flavor.
Specs mentioned in the report include a seven-inch LCD display, 1.2-megapixel webcam, and a five-megapixel main camera. The processor appears to be a Snapdragon S4 Pro (though a Snapdragon 600 might end up in the official announcement), and the report claims 4GB of RAM. Android 4.3 is expected to power this tablet. We’ll leave you with these reported specs as well as a couple of images, and a video.
