Carrier leak shows plans for Moto X launch

Motorola’s Moto X has been getting a ton of attention lately, showing up in leaked videos, as well as in the hand of Google’s Executive Chairman, and the manufacturer itself has been showing us where the smartphone is put together. With that Google event next week, we’re sure hoping to get some confirmation about just how this guy will launch. A number of August dates have been suggested so far, and now we’ve got another to check out tonight, thanks to a leak out of US Cellular.

As you can see above, the carrier expects to start sales of the Moto X late next month, on August 26. That’s a bit later than we had been expecting, but it’s not out of the realm of consideration that US Cellular might not get access to the Moto X as the same time as some of the larger carriers.

It would be just lovely to see a leak like this also spill some beans on Moto X pricing, but we’ll take we can get for now. With Google’s little breakfast event getting closer every day, we may just have our answers soon.
