Is this Samsung’s Galaxy Note III?

Samsung may still seem to be working on new versions of the Galaxy S 4, but when we’re talking about what’s next for its Android lineup, nothing’s more anticipated than the Galaxy Note III. There have been a lot of rumors about what sort of hardware we might hope to expect, and we might very well start getting some answers next week when Samsung details what it’s up to with this just-announced Exynos 5 Octa refresh. One thing we haven’t had yet is a good look at a believable Note III candidate – sure, there have been a lot of attempts, but nothing really convincing. Today we get to see what sure seems to be a Samsung device in testing, but is it the Galaxy Note III?

While the source behind these images asserts that they depict the Galaxy Note III, it’s just fantastically difficult to make out anything in detail here. This might be the Note III, sure, but we’re not seeing any really strong indications to that effect – someone using the handset with a stylus, for example.

These pics are just so very small, though – and blowing them up doesn’t help any – that we’re left not knowing much more than when we went in to this. The most promising angle may be that this source exists at all, and maybe next time he or she will have something a little more convincing to share.
