Over the past several weeks, we’ve witnessed a number of leaks coming in from what appear to be Apple’s manufacturing partners, revealing the company’s upcoming hardware in various states of assembly. For a while now, much of that has focused on the flagship iPhone 5S, but we’ve also started seeing evidence arrive of the rumored budget iPhone; just last week we looked at an image that appeared to reveal such hardware in three different colors. We build off of that find today, with a new picture showing the phone in a couple additional shades, as well as another leak of the 5S.
In addition to the yellow, red, and green we saw last time, here we get the budget iPhone in blue and a more traditional-looking white. While what we see mostly matches last week’s pic, this selection may be at a different stage in the manufacturing process, as the handsets appear to be backed by protective transparent plastic sheets that were previously lacking.
As for the 5S – well, we’ve already seen the phone in more complete states of assembly than this, so it’s a bit less of an exciting find, and maybe more than anything another reminder of how comparatively little will be changing with the look of the 5S, compared to the iPhone 5.
