The image above is claimed to be a press render of the Verizon Motorola DROID MAXX. It is, as leaked, expected to land on Big Red’s line-up later on this year but aside from that there’s no other information to go by.
“MAXX”-named phones are usually higher-battery-capacity-equipped flavors of a model, and, like in the RAZR’s case, the DROID MAXX above is believed to be the extended battery flavor of the Droid Ultra we’ve heard about recently. There are no specs or anything else in addition to the image above but you can tell it’s made out of kevlar, like previous Motorola phones, and it also extends to the front-bottom, where three capacitive buttons can be found.
