Nokia Zoom is the latest name we can add to the list of monikers that can potentially describe the phone to be unveiled on July 11. We’ve initially heard about EOS, then Elvis, and, more recently, a Lumia 1020 denomination started popping up on the interwebs.
However, Nokia Zoom is the company’s latest trademark, and, since the official invite features zoom all over, we think this might be something related. The trademark filing is dated May 30 and it is still under examination over at the European Union trademark database. The trademark covers “mobile phones, smart phones, tablets; accessories and replacement parts for mobile phones, smart phones and tablets”.
As the filing is with European trademark authorities, could this be the international name for the upcoming phone, or should we prepare for something different? What do you think?
