Samsung shares US Galaxy Tab 3 retail launch details
The Galaxy Tab 3 lineup is nothing new. Samsung announced the Tab 3 7.0 all the way back in April, and followed that up with news of the Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1 three weeks ago. So, while the cat may be out of the bag concerning any hardware details, Samsung had yet to confirm details about just when we’d be able to get our hands on these tablets, and for how much. It helps us out with those today, sharing news that the three Galaxy Tab 3 models will go up for sale in the US on July 7.
Just to refresh your memory a little, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Marvell SoC, and has 1GB of RAM, a three-megapixel main camera, and a 1024 x 600 seven-inch display.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 runs a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos 4, has 1.5GB of RAM, a five-megapixel main camera, and its eight-inch screen has a 1280 x 800 resolution. Then there’s the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, with its dual-core 1.6GHz Intel chip, 1GB RAM, three-megapixel main camera, and 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 screen.
The three tablets will sell for just about $200, $300, and $400, respectively. Pre-orders will be available through certain retailers beginning tomorrow, June 25.
