First Jobs movie trailer drops; will it do his legacy justice?

It’s almost hard to believe, but we’re already coming up on the two year anniversary of the death of Steve Jobs. His passing sent shock waves through the mobile industry, and though Apple has certainly managed to keep going without him in the months since, we’ve more than once wondered if the company would be making the same decisions it has, were Jobs still in the picture. As we all continue to remember the man and his influence in our own ways, the big Jobs bio-pic is getting ready to premiere, and today its first full trailer is out.

Starring Ashton Kutcher in the title role, the film follows Jobs from his early days with Woz getting Apple off the ground, to the company’s rapid rise to success, conflicts with the board, and his eventual return and role in bringing Apple back to being the giant it is today.

Early reviews from critics are a mixed bag, but you can bet that’s not going to stop Apple fans (nor many of the rest of us) from grabbing a ticket and seeing just how good a job (no pun intended) the film ends up doing.
