The wireless charging space has its nondescript plates, its chopped-in-half spheres, and its invisibly integrated landing zones – but what it’s lacking in most cases is a sense of style. With its new Qi-enabled wireless charging dock, accessory maker TYLT looks to shake up that status quo somewhat, and the company was kind enough to send us our very own TYLT Vu for a quick look.
This isn’t a review per se, as the Vu is not yet in full production and we haven’t used it long enough to render a solid opinion or to shake out any bugs (if any exist). Rather, this is a quick, hands-on snapshot of what could prove a pretty cool product. We’ll take you through the ins and outs of its design, take a peek inside -via prototype photos- to talk a little about induction, and show you how it might look on a desktop similar to yours. Then you can decide whether or not you want to back the project on Kickstarter.
Sound good? We thought so. Click the link below for the full tour, and please join us in thanking TYLT for early access to a demo unit.
