Galaxy S 4 Active hands-on (Video)

Samsung may have announced the Galaxy S 4 Active earlier this month, but at the Samsung Premiere event in London today we finally got our first chance to interact with the smartphone.

The Sony Xperia Z got a trend going earlier this year where Android smartphones could be resistant to the elements without sacrificing on power. That’s very much the case here with the GS4 Active, which manages to come through with a five-inch 1080p screen and Snapdragon 600 processor while still being water resistant. It’s not a complete GS4 clone – the screen moves from AMOLED to LCD and the camera resolution takes a slight hit down to 8 megapixels – but that’s still miles ahead of most of its competition.
