The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has proven to be the tablet that many of us dreamed, but that sadly hasn’t made the dent that many of us expected in the market. If you think about it, it’s the perfect form factor for S-Pen functionality by offering a display size that’s not too big, nor too small to actually be used with one hand as you write on it. A big reason for its lack of success had to do with its focus on mainly launching ti as a Wi-Fi only model in a US where the carriers rule distribution. This is fortunately about to change for all those interested.
AT&T has just made it official that they’ll be selling the LTE-enabled Galaxy Note 8.0 with a two-year contract starting at $399. This unit keeps the same specifications that we reviewed recently with a 1,280 x 800 display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, aside from all the bells and whistles that the S-Pen provides.
What sweetens the pot on this deal though is that if you’re interested in buying a Galaxy S 4, Galaxy Note II or Galaxy S 4 Active on AT&T, you can bundle this tablet for just $199. The launch date is slated for June 21st, and if you’re still having a hard time deciding, catch our full review for details.
