A Samsung Galaxy S 4 update is rolling out to the Qualcomm version of the device, bringing improvements and fixes. We’re talking about the GT-I9505 models, but, according to reports, the Exynos variants (GT-I9500 devices) will soon get the refresh too.
Important fixes and improvements are reportedly inside the package. Among these, a new camera firmware, fix for the smearing issue, a Smart Pause toggle, the ability to (finally) move Apps to the SD card, HDR Video , semi-transparent status bar (a la HTC One), new icons inside Settings, and an Increase display legibility (new feature), among other things.
Germany is currently the only country to see this update, with build date May 29, 2013. The Samsung Galaxy S 4 update weighs 365MB and is delivered over-the-air. Fingers crossed it reaches your device soon (and that carriers won’t sit long on it).
