HTC One Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5.0 rumors

Almost a month ago we’ve seen an alleged leak of Sense 5.1 running on top of Android 4.2.2, in a ROM for the HTC Butterfly. Apparently, whenever the HTC One will get its Android 4.2.2 refresh, it will come bundled with Sense 5.0 (not 5.1), according to this report. Still, there are a couple of things mentioned.

Aside from the ability for HTC One users to enable battery percentage display, the report claims that the new ROM will also bring changes to the app drawer and dock. These will come alongside some stock Android features implemented in the HTC One ROM, like the notification toggles, Android Daydream, and a tweak from HTC to long press the home button and act as a menu button. More screenshots were promised and we’ll inform you as soon as we hear anything.

However, if you prefer your HTC One “Sense-less”, you can always take a look at the “Google Edition” device.
